Chino Valley Irrigation District Water System Improvement Project
Prescott, Arizona

Description
This project included the design of approximately 8,200 linear feet of 30" diameter transmission pipeline and 6,400 linear feet of a 6" diameter supply pipeline. The 30" pipeline is the primary transmission supply from the City of Prescott's well field to its main water storage facility. Civiltec was charged with researching existing City of Prescott water line data, and existing utility locations, performing a topographic and planimetric survey of the improvement corridor areas, preparing plan and profile drawings of the water line improvements, preparing detailed design for two pressure reducing stations, which reduced water line pressure from approximately 400 psi to 100 psi, preparing a water system design report, and processing the plans through ADEQ with no comments or revisions requested.
